If your medical condition qualifies for repeat prescriptions there are a number of ways to request them:
- NHS APP : ideally patients are encouraged to use NHS app (you can register without any codes from the surgery)
- Patient Access : will need registration for Repeat Prescription by filling a form at the surgery.
- eConsult : eConsult should not be used to request medications as it is not available all the time.
- MyGP App: will need registration for Repeat Prescription by filling a form at the surgery.
- Put the request in the surgery letter box.
- Send the request by post.
- Ask your pharmacist to request it on your behalf.
Please Note: we are unable to accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.
Please note; medications which need re-authorisation from the doctor (when it has exceeded the number of authorised repeats by the GP) might not appear on all online systems.
Prescriptions will usually be processed and sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy or printed and left at reception if you do not have a nominated pharmacy.
Please allow a minimum of 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
