High demand for GP services - June 2022

We are currently experiencing high demand for enquiries, appointments and treatment, as well as still experiencing COVID absence and other staff sickness. This means we currently have a shortage of clincial and non-clinical  staff, appointments and we are not able to find locum staff to help. Non-urgent appointments are currently waiting up to 2- 3 weeks to be seen. We have a limited emergency appointments on the day, once booked and you need urgent attention we advise you to call 111 or go to urgent care centre at Chase Farm hospital.  Last week we managed over 700 appointments. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and we are working hard to resolve the situation as best we can.

We value all patients of different ages, backgrounds and cultures.

We are also a GP training practice striving to help future GPs learn how to provide excellent quality of care for patients as they start their career.
